Born and raised in Lawrence County, KY, Morgan Lester graduated from the University of Kentucky with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2016, after initially attending Morehead State University on an Honor’s Scholarship. After graduation from UK, she was chosen to be the very first Sports Resident of the new University of Kentucky Sports Rehab Sports Physical Therapy Residency Program. During her residency Morgan co-authored research on Home Exercise Program Self-Efficacy which was published in the premier national Sports and Orthopedic Physical Therapy Journal (JOSPT). In February of 2020 she was honored in Denver at the APTA Combined Sections meeting for becoming a Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Sports Physical Therapy.
After her husband, Marc, graduated Dental School from UK they moved back to their hometown of Louisa, KY with their 2 dogs, Coty and Ellie. Morgan is now excited to give back and provide quality, specialized care to her hometown and the surrounding areas.
Jayde Slone, PTA

Martin County, KY native, Jayde Alone graduated from Sheldon Clark High School in 2012 and continued her education as a First Generation Scholar at the University of Kentucky, where she obtained her Bachelor’s of Science in Kinesiology in May of 2016. After several years as a Physical Therapy Tech and Office Manager, Jayde returned to school at Mountwest Community and Technical College where she attained her degree as a Physical Therapy Assistant.
Jayde currently resides in Louisa, KY wither her husband Matt and their three dogs (Ted, Layla, and Ranger). Jayde enjoys the outdoors and giving back to the people of Eastern Kentucky.
Jessica Spillman, PTA

Jessica was born and raised in Lawrence County, Kentucky. She graduated from Mountwest Community and Technical College with an Associate of Applied Science degree and became a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant in 2015. She has a wide range of experience in her years of working in the physical therapy field. Jessica has experience treating patients in a variety of settings including outpatient, inpatient, home health, and pediatrics in the school setting. She fell in love with physical therapy while in middle school after experiencing an ACL tear playing basketball, requiring her to have surgery and her own physical therapy. Jessica and her husband Derek have 2 amazing children, Tegan and Harper. Jessica looks forward to continuing to care for the people in her community.
Coty & Ellie Lester
The Best Therapists have 4 Paws! Though they aren’t in the clinic, Coty and Ellie inspire the staff at EKYSOPT to treat every patient with all the attention, love, and care they deserve, no matter who they are! You’ll no doubt hear all about the many adventures of Coty (Beagle) and Ellie(Springer Spaniel) from the EKYSOPT staff.
